Social & Support Groups
These groups are not meant to take the place of professional therapy, but rather to give participants an opportunity to discuss topics related to Autism in a safe and understanding environment. If you have questions about our social and support groups please email us here.
With the current social distancing safety precautions in place, we have moved to a Zoom meeting format for most support groups.
ASC's social and support groups are open to Colorado residents. To find a support group in your state click here. If your state does not have an Autism Society affiliate, please contact us here.
Adults with Autism support groups
ASC's Adult Support Groups are a place for adults with Autism to connect. These groups are not meant to take the place of professional therapy, but rather to give participants an opportunity to discuss topics related to autism.
Our Tuesday group leans toward adults age 40+ and the Wednesday group leans toward adults in their 20s and 30s, though neither has a firm age requirement. The Tuesday and Wednesday adult support groups meet in the first and third week of each month. In the last week of the month, all ages of ASC's adult support group participants are invited to attend an in person social gathering. See our meeting guidelines here.
