If you have talents or a desire to assist us in other areas and they are not listed, please still contact the volunteer manager and discuss it with them. We value any volunteer willing to assist us in improving the programs here at ASC and you may have great ideas that can help us that we may have missed. Please feel free to share them with us at any time.

Volunteer Orientations

If you are looking to volunteer, we ask that you register for one of our Volunteer Orientations prior to beginning your service with ASC. The orientation will be an introduction to the organization, how to meet the needs to people we serve, and what will be asked of you as a volunteer. The dates for Volunteer Orientations are:

 

• Friday, January 25th 10-11am
• Monday, March 11th 5:30-6:30pm
• Tuesday, April 2nd 1-2pm
• Saturday, April 13th 11am-12pm
• Wednesday, May 8th 5:30-6:30pm
• Monday, June 3rd 6-7pm

Meeting & Event Support

• Signage for publicity about ASC
• Gas cards or mileage reimbursement for staff travel to meetings, events, training venues, etc.

• Give-away/promotional items for resource fairs/information kits (pens, magnets, sticky note pads with ASC logo, candy)

• Catering Support:  Lunch provided for Autism Answers Lunch and Learn presentations
• Beverage Support:  Meetings, events, support groups, seminars
