Pinyon Ranch Horse Seminar  **July 25th - August 1

Program provides transition ages 18 and up with developmental disabilities 5 days and nights of an intensive ranch experience. Participants will learn skills working in a horse ranch environment, be provided training in different aspects of the care and grooming of horses, while improving motor skills through riding and working on social and self-help skills.

Each participant will be assigned to the same horse for the duration of the program.  Participants will care for this horse, as well as gaining riding experience. Also Included in the 5 days will be a trail ride and overnight pack trip for those participants who feel prepared to participate. The cost per participant is $1,125 for the 5 days. This includes lodging, meals, and all activities.
