Education & OutreachThe Autism Society of Colorado seeks to educate and inform the Colorado community about autism. Our educational programs include Autism 101, Collaborative Educational Opportunities, & Caregiver Connections Support Group.
Autism 101 is a training offered by the Autism Society of Colorado (ASC) to organizations that are interested in learning more about autism. The presentation covers the following topics:
- What is autism?
- What does autism look like?
- How do I support an individual with autism?
Collaborative Educational Opportunities
The Autism Society of Colorado seeks to partner with other organizations also helping to serve the needs of the autism or developmental disability community. As a result, we often hold educational seminars that appeal to a larger or shared audience. If you are interested in presenting a training, workshop, or seminar at ASC, please call (720) 214-0794.
Caregiver Connections Support Group
If you are a caregiver of someone on the autism spectrum, please join us for our monthly Caregiver Connections meetings. These meetings provide opportunities for caregivers of individuals with autism to come together and support each other. While the intent of the meeting is to have open discussion, please let us know if there is a specific topic you would like to focus on so we can make the most of our time together. Please call (720) 214-0794 if you have any thoughts, questions, or concerns regarding Caregiver Connections.
